Default Ethical Funds suffering?

The industry of ethical funds is not massive but nonetheless growing in importance but during the last 12 months it seems that the amount of money being invested in them has shrunk significantly. Perhaps this is because there is less money around or that investors percieve such investments as too risky?

What do you think?

A government survey has shown that businesses are unwilling to invest in green performance as a result of the current economic conditions. I would suggest the down turn in ethical funding investment is symptomatic of this ecomomic situation and the subsequent fallout in the banking / investment industry.

i think that charities as well as the green agenda are all suffering due to the credit crunch. Everyone is tighting belts, and thats not just because its January.
