My name is Paula and I’m currently working with SeaFrance and The Marine Conservation Society to promote The Beachwatch weekend - a nation-wide beach clean-up and litter survey. It involves thousands of volunteers from around the UK who spend just a few hours helping to clean up and survey our coastline.
We’re looking for people to help survey and clean as much of the coast as possible during Beachwatch Big Weekend 2009, taking place over the weekend of 19th-20th September. I wanted tell your members about this and see if they’d be interested in getting involved – you can either join and event or organise one with your friends, family or colleagues.
